Photography, cinema, and art have all been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I had a wonderful opportunity to travel the world, experience new cultures, and take some amazing pictures for five years. While that experience was life-changing, I now get the opportunity to pursue my life’s passion rather than working for the man!

I have a degree from Illinois State University that involves extensive video and editing training. I have also been a singer/songwriter for the better part of 20 years. To me, editing and filmmaking have always been like writing a song. At True Shot Studios, we strive to not just find your story but to search for a compelling way to tell it.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Film & Video from Columbia College Chicago. I have been telling stories with a viedo camera since middle school and to this day, I still truly believe nothing is as epic as a story being told on-screen. Now I get the honor to film magic happening to magnficent people at the most epic of times.
